If mine died, I would buy this one:https://www.amazon.com/ChefsChoice-Easy-clean-Construction-Operation-Stainless/dp/B078X5JWBD/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=meat+slicer&qid=1572455031&refinements=p_89%3AChef%E2%80%99sChoice%7CNesco&rnid=2528832011&sr=8-4

Any one of the brand name ones would probably be okay. Just make sure that the one you get has an adjustable blade for different thicknesses.American Dreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14091457436415496408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8137704681803471257.post-2006307965345224542019-10-30T09:59:27.688-07:002019-10-30T09:59:27.688-07:00Hi Joyce,

Here is a post about it:
https://frugalthingseveryday.blogspot.com/2018/08/cheaper-cold-cuts.html
I also cut chicken and turkey breasts off the carcasses and slice them. I have done big hams too by cutting big chunks off. I have sliced big corn beefs because Hubby loves reuben sandwiches. I put enough in a ziploc to eat for 3 or 4 days. The rest I freeze in packets of 3-4 days and just pull one out to thaw when we need it.
